| MoverMoms returned from our August trip to El Salvador with a renewed sense of commitment to working together with the Amun Shea school. We have a wonderful partnership in which American and Salvadoran kids and adults have a cultural exchange with one another (Intercambio in Spanish). We do craft and cooking projects as well as other educational activities in the northeastern corner of the country in a town named Perquin. We also travel around the beautiful country of El Salvador to get to know the land and it's people and culture, and this trip we were fortunate to have a meeting at the US Embassy. We hope you will consider joining us for next summer's trip! |
