Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace . . .
One School at a Time (Paperback)

by Greg Mortenson

We identified several traits that Greg has which have helped him succeed in his incredible endeavor, including his tenacity and persistence, his determination even as he faces tough challenges, his deep respect for Pakistani people and foreign cultures, his hard work and high energy level, and perhaps most of all his unbelievable passion and commitment to the cause of educating girls and to the idea that one person can make a huge difference.

Salma gave each of us a "Three Cups of Tea" card made by her 12 year-old daughter Saanya. Saanya sells the cards and donates the proceeds to Greg Mortenson's organization, the Central Asia Institute. To date she has raised over $10,000!
